"Eeze the Wheeze" asthma seminar for kids, teens
Free seminar especially for kids and teens aged 8 to 15 years old.
Participants will learn techniques to better control asthma and create and asthma action plan.
Between 9:30 a.m. and 12 p.m., participants may visit various education stations, led by IU Northwest students, on such topics as: What is Asthma? Asthma Symptoms. Asthma Triggers. Asthma Medicaitons and Controlling Asthma.
Free lunch at 12 p.m.
From 1 to 2 p.m., attendees may visit education stations to learn about assessment tools such as peak flow meters, spacers and the asthma control test.
At 2:15 p.m., attendees will be directed to presentations in Raintree Hal, Room 102.
