SPEA Research Forum: Reporting of Domestic Violence Cases
The School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) at Indiana University Northwest invites students, academic researchers, and working professionals to the Fall 2013 Research Forum, with upcoming sessions planned for October 29, November 19, 21, 26 and December 2, 3, 5.
The SPEA Research Forum showcases research by faculty, students and guest speakers. Students, in particular, are encouraged to participate in research projects through independent studies under the supervision of their faculty mentors. Both undergraduate and graduate students conduct their research while completing service learning courses or internships. Research projects provide opportunities for students to apply theory and collect and analyze data while developing critical thinking and problem solving skills.
The next session of the Fall 2013 Research Forum:
Tuesday, Oct. 29
Dan Tsataros, Monica Solinas-Saunders and Joe Ferrandino
"Reporting or Not Reporting: Police Discretion in the era of mandatory reporting for Domestic Violence Cases"
7 p.m. in Raintree Hall, Room 211
