Loans from a private collection and objects usually held in museum storage complement the museum’s permanent display of masks, figures, and two prestige hats from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Angola to give students enrolled in the art history department’s Art of Central Africa a wider array of artworks to view in the original as they study this culturally rich and varied region.
