Marion Werkheiser will be visiting campus on Thursday, April 3 as a guest of the College of Arts and Sciences. Werkheiser will be at Maurer for an informal discussion with students from 1:30-2:30 in the Faculty Lounge (refreshments provided).
Werkheiser earned her B.A. from Indiana University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. A leader in cultural heritage law, Marion co-founded in 2004 the Lawyer's Committee for Cultural Heritage Preservation and served as its inaugural vice-president. For four years she taught an upper level seminar on international and domestic cultural property law at the College of William and Mary Law School.
