Students may not know what their dream job or vocation may be; however, for most of us, life requires that we find a way to usefully occupy ourselves once we’ve graduated. That being said, it is still much better when the work (or study) one undertakes is satisfying. With that in mind, the Honors Program, Career Development, Advisors and HP alumni and faculty offer this two-part workshop. Participants may attend one or both sessions, as meet their needs. Open to all students, regardless of their class standing.
Session One: Preparation for Life After College
This session, from 8:30-10:20, will address career opportunities, the benefits of internships and study abroad, and the importance of networking.
Session Two: Graduate School Preparation
From 10:30 until noon, this session will address making the decision to apply, the nitty-gritty of applying, and settling into graduate school life.
While all students who attend are encouraged to participate in both sessions, they are not required to do so.
