The Music Department at Indiana University Southeast will present the IU Southeast Orchestra in a Summer Pops Concert on Sunday, June 16 at 3:00pm in the Richard K. Stem Concert Hall of the Paul W. Ogle Cultural and Community Center on the IU Southeast campus, 4201 Grant Line Road in New Albany. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for students, seniors, IU Southeast faculty & staff, and are available at the Ogle Center ticket office or by calling (812) 941-2526.
Under the direction of Dr. Joanna Goldstein, the program will include: AMERICAN SALUTE by Morton Gould, PRESIDENTIAL POLONAISE and CIRCUS GALOP from "THE IRISH DRAGOON" by John Philip Sousa, A TRIBUTE TO JOHN WILLIAMS adapted by Paul Lavender, HIGHLIGHTS FROM "JURASSIC PARK" by john Williams, SUITE FROM "THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY" by Howard Shore, LASSUS TROMBONE by Henry Filmore, ALEXANDER'S RAGTIME BAND by Irving Berlin, and PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: THE CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL by Klaus Bedelt.
Free parking is available in the Dogwood lot directly in front of the Ogle Center. Vehicles parked in other lots on campus will be subject to ticketing.
