The Music Department at Indiana University Southeast will present the IU Southeast Concert Band in a Summer Pops Concert on Sunday, June 9 at 3:00pm in the Richard K. Stem Concert Hall of the Paul W. Ogle Cultural and Community Center on the IU Southeast campus, 4201 Grant Line Road in New Albany. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for students, seniors, IU Southeast faculty & staff, and are available at the Ogle Center ticket office or by calling (812) 941-2526.
Under the direction of Philip Thomas, the program will include: "HANDS ACROSS THE SEA" MARCH by John Philip Sousa, IRISH TUNE FROM COUNTY DERRY by Percy Aldridge Grainger, AMERICAN CIVIL WAR FANTASY by Jerry H. Blick, BENNY GOODMAN: THE KING OF SWING arranged by Paul Murtha, MUSIC FROM "THE INCREDIBLES" by Michael Giacchino, DARTMOOR, 1912 (from WAR HORSE) by John Williams, and SYMPHONIC SUITE FROM "STAR TREK" by Michael Giacchino and Alexander Courage.
Free parking is available in the Dogwood lot directly in front of the Ogle Center. Vehicles parked in other lots on campus will be subject to ticketing.
