Description:

Interested in using an efficient method to provide quality feedback and check the originality of your students’ written work before you spend valuable time grading?

IU subscribes to turnitin, a web-based program that (a) helps to detect and discourage plagiarism; and (b) facilitate: meaningful audio and written feedback, students’ peer reviews, and enhanced student writing.

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

distinguish between several features and functionalities of turnitin such as GradeMark, PeerMark, ETS Grammar Check, and Rubrics;

adjudicate plagiarism concerns (e.g. via a scenario-based simulation).
